Back when we were spending evenings at the Isar or at outdoor pools, when our weekends were devoted to eating ice cream from True & 12 and swimming in Bavaria’s lakes, and when our skin didn’t look quite as pale and pasty as it does right now, we were busy drinking Mondino. With tonic, ice and a slice of lemon, or as a spritz while watching the sun go down.
