The SOUVE BAG COMPANY was founded in 2011 by designer Hendrik Boeing. Producing durable, avant-garde, timeless bags made from leather and canvas, the label creates gorgeous products. Their SS15 Italian black calf leather bags (handcrafted in Naples) are classics, while their waxed canvas bags are understated beauties. I particularly love this green backpack, and their travel duffle bags are works of art.
Their flagship store is located in Munich’s city centre, and opened in 2013. The store also sells selected sunglasses, liquors (including Hamburg’s excellent Elephant gin and Heiland beer liquor) and books from the likes of Gestalten, if you’re after a special, unique gift. As a side note, Gestalten’s book Barley & Hops is the most wonderful book on craft beer.
