I have to return to Cafe Creme, because I didn’t try one of their famous Laugensemmeln while I was there. People rave about how good the typically southern German sandwiches are at Cafe Creme, and if they’re anything as sinful as their French pastries and cakes, I’m sold.
Essentially, Cafe Creme’s a bakery – a place for locals to pick up a freshly baked baguette and a few pain au chocolats at the weekend, or a spot to grab a slice of quiche from. Still, is an excellent spot to stop by to break up a Glockenbach shopping trip. They offer good coffee, ice-cold Almdudler, freshly pressed juices and iced tea and newspapers and magazines to pore over. The few tables inside are almost always full, and the place is constantly bustling.
The staff are friendly, the pastries are fresh and the coffee’s good – what more could you ask of a cafe?!
