Klangfest München

On Saturday, June 7, Munich’s fourth Klangfest will take place at the Gasteig. Over thirty bands will perform over the course of the Saturday, and the free gigs are expected to attract around 10,000 visitors. The full program is available here, but I’ve already picked out a few shows for you.

Munich four-piece The Capitols will be playing the outdoor stage at six fifteen with mellow indie sounds:

The Munich electropop group Charly Bravo will be playing on the open-air stage at a quarter past nine. I’m not all that fond of their music, but it is made for an open-air stage on a summer’s night – grab a beer and head down to dance.

I highly recommend checking out The Marble Man in the Black Box at a quarter to six – he makes the loveliest music, and Hauskonzerte made this lovely video with him:

And last but not least, Frenchman Fred Raspail will send you to the steps of Montmartre at 7:45pm in the Black Box:
