Sofie Nilsson – Reaction

sofie-schellingstr.

One of my lovely readers, Swedish Sofie Nilsson, is hosting an exhibition in Schellingstr. in June – kicking off with the vernissage on June 7.

Sofie studied at Saint Martins in London, and has since exhibited her work around London, and in Torekov and Stockholm in Sweden. She’s just moved to Munich, and this will be her first exhibition in Germany. Her work is stunning – here are a few pieces from the upcoming exhibition – I love the delicacy of them, and the way she plays with the colours so subtley. But as Sofie says herself, her works are to be enjoyed in person, not through reproductions or prints – and this is hugely important to her work.

If you fancy browsing her latest works, pop along to the vernissage and meet her in person – from 7pm on June 7 – and if you can’t make that, the exhibition times are above.
