From tomorrow until September 20, the former heating plant turned culture location MMA is playing host to an interactive exhibition from Olympus. It’s a playground for photographers – amateur and professional, and a chance to test out some of Olympus’ best cameras. I have the PL7 (which is available to test at MMA) and it’s a real dream – it shoots fast, clear images and has nice little gimmicks such as WiFi, and a vintage look. If you’re after a new, high-end camera that’s not as bulky as an SLR, I can wholly recommend the PL7.
But anyway, back to Olympus’ Photography Playground.
Part of the exhibition features an installation entitled Tape, from Numen / For Use. The collective has created a labyrinth of tunnels and rooms made from tape, and it looks like a lot of fun:
Entrance is completely free and you can check out the exhibition (and test out the cameras) daily from 11am-8pm at MMA (Katharina-von-Bora-Straße 8A, close to Königsplatz).
