The Made in Minga fair is on at the Paulaner am Nockherberg this weekend, celebrating – as the name implies – all things made in Munich.
From jewellers to bakers, from gin to coffee, there’s something for everyone to be found at the event. The full list of exhibitors is available online, but here are a few of my favourites:
Kaffeerösterei Vogelmaier
Haidhausen’s excellent coffee roasters will be offering freshly brewed coffee at the event. Start your day with a flat white (before you move on to the many gins on offer).
Farbgold
This graphic design studio sells posters, cards and cups – the perfect place to search for a gift.
Heiland
I’ve written about Heiland beer liqueuer before, and I’m still a fan. It’s a brilliant, unusual gift (Christmas!) for those beer fans in your life.
Filomi
This is a brilliant concept – Filomi creates modular pieces of furniture for kids, meaning you don’t have to invest in new pieces every few years. Live sustainably!
Tickets bought online cost 8 €, and if you buy at the event, they’ll cost 10 € – so it’s worth the clicks. Kids up to eight years of age get in for free.
