The DaWanda Designmarkt is coming to Munich this weekend. On Saturday and Sunday, you can wander around the Zenith and discover small, independent brands from around Germany. The market’s open from 10am-6pm both days, and entrance for adults is 4 € (kids under 12 get in for free, 13-18 year olds pay 2 €).
I’ve picked out a few of my favourite stores that will be showing their wares at the event:
The Cologne-Berlin brand ElektroPulli produce ethically made beautiful bags and iPhone cases. I adore this handmade old school satchel.
I’m a huge fan of concrete homeware, and Glänzend Grau make the most beautiful salad bowls, vases and storage jars using concrete. I rather like this eye-catching neon yellow concrete bowl.
Minimalistic, clean and classic – Farbdoktor’s products are timeless. These decorative felt bowls are gorgeous.
Hamburg jewellery makers Von Lani make unique, sweet little earrings and necklaces using fabrics. These studs go with everything.
The Silberfischer duo produce simple, linear prints that work on t-shirts, bags and canvases. This is the ideal bag for the hipster in your life.
