Waffle & Friends, Munich

Waffle & Friends

This week, Deliveroo sent me some waffles from Hauptbahnhof’s Waffle & Friends. The menu is short and simple – a couple of toasties and a dozen or so Belgian waffles.

I ordered some of the most decadent waffles available – the liège au chocolat, chocolate & strawberry and Dream Team – a banana nut combo (to share, I didn’t eat all three alone!).

I’d never normally think to order dessert as a takeaway, and it was rather lovely being able to enjoy hot waffles on my sofa, without having to clean the waffle iron afterwards.

If you pass through Hauptbahnhof on your way to work in the morning, consider stopping off at Waffle & Friends one day – they’re open from 6:30am weekdays, and what better way to start the day than with some hot waffles, fresh fruits and creamy ice cream?

Oh, and if you fancy trying out one of Deliveroo’s excellent restaurants, get 10 € off your first order with the code ARTSINMUNICH.*

*The voucher code can only be redeemed by new customers. Expires 10th April 2016. Full terms and conditions can be found at: deliveroo.de/legal.
