Prima Leben und Stereo 2013

I am sorry I’ve been away so long!

I was in the US, marrying two wonderful friends of mine on a beach in Northern California.

And now it’s back to Munich with a bang. But my spirits are high, for Prima Leben und Stereo, a lovely little festial in Freising is kicking off in just two weeks. On 2-3 August, lots of good German bands will be on stage in Freising, and tickets are just 49 € (including camping) for the entire weekend.

Super fun Moop Mama are treating your ears on Friday:

One of my favourite Munich bands right now, Claire will be playing Saturday:

And one of Germany’s most prolific rock bands, Tocotronic are headlining Saturday night, promoting their new album “Wie wir leben wollen”.

Lots of fantastic bands have played Prima Leben und Stereo over the years – Young Chinese Dogs, Bodi Bill, Dear Henry Bliss – and it’s a fun festival with a lovely Wirtshaus nearby – perfect for a Katerfrühstück. Quick – reserve your tickets now, the festival always sells out, and a little bird told me that tickets are almost all gone.

If you can’t take the Friday off work but are keen to see Moot Mama, head down to the Heimatsound festival in Oberammergau – where they’re playing on Saturday. Day tickets cost 32 €.
