Half Moon Run at Ampere

Nadin from Munich & the Mountains has given me a heads up about a fantastic Montreal band in town tonight, Half Moon Run. They’re in the middle of a hugely successful European tour before heading back to Canada to play some shows. Later this year they’ll be embarking on an Australian tour – they’re set to be huge.

So many people have waxed lyrical about the quartet being an unbelievably good live band – full of zeal and energy. They’ve lazily been referred to as the next Mumford & Sons, but the only similarity is that they play as a four-piece with a great deal of vivacity.

They’re playing the Ampere tonight, and tickets cost just 20 €. Or, if you send an email to Nadin before 4pm, you could be in with a chance of winning two tickets for tonight’s show.
