The Wannda Circus Open Air is taking place at the Viehhof tomorrow, and the team behind the ever-popular Wannda Circus events will host a two and a half week long culture festival from April 13 – May 1.
Tomorrow’s Wannda Circus Open Air is a magial, colourful, fantastical affair. It kicks off at midday, and continues through to the early hours of Sunday in Bahnwärter Thiel. Plenty of DJs will be on hand, and what would a circus be without acrobats? Wannda has plenty lined up to keep you entertained.
The culture festival is more for families – an extension of their day-long Open Air event, but with even more to offer. They have dance performances, yoga workshops, puppet theatre for kids, experimental painting, flamenco dancing and plenty of concerts lined up, alongside an exhibition which will show throughout the course of the festival.
The exhibition celebrates local artists, and the vernissage (April 13) will see Augsburg band Griswold perform.
Head there on Tuesday, April 18, to catch shorts from students at the HFF (7pm-9pm, entrance free), and visit the vegan food bazaar on April 30 (from 1pm-1am, entrance free). The full program is available on Facebook.
There’s also plenty of food on offer – from vegan crepes and veggie kebabs to burritos and homemade burgers and chips, and good coffee and cold beer to wash it all down.
