Once a year, the Bavarian Red Cross organizes a huuuuge flea market at Theresienwiese. Tomorrow, around twenty thousand Münchners will be heading down to the Theresienwiese to snap up a bargain, find some antiques or sell unwanted gifts.
If you have lots of stuff to sell, get down there early (you can’t reserve your spots in advance). Three meters of space costs 15 €, every further meter is another 5 €, all of which goes to the Red Cross. If you have a tonne of stuff and are bringing your car, parking costs 5 € – but it’s no car boot sale, you have to set up a proper stall to sell.
Kick-off is at 7am – and I know it’s the weekend, but if you want to check out the best things on offer, you have to get down there early.
Sadly, the weather’s not looking so good, so make sure you take a brolly!
